Two New Photos For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Orci And Kurtzman Rewriting Webhead Sequel

Recently Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman were hired to rewrite THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN sequel after Sony had James Vanderbilt have a crack at it last spring. Apparently the first go at it didn't met expectations and you can do worse than hire Orci and Kurtzman, clearly. We'll see how this iteration turns out by Sony's reaction to further "retouches". SPIDER-MAN 2 has a slated release window in May 2014.

In the meanwhile we still have a solid and in-the-can movie to talk about! THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Here are two officially released photos of Andrew Garfield as the webslinger.

Here's the official storyline for the movie:
Like most teenagers his age, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. In his journey to put the pieces of his past together he uncovers a secret his father held…a secret that will ultimately shape his destiny as Spider-Man. This is the first in a series of movies that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story.
