**SAME DAY UPDATE: I just got this confirmed by Fox. 161 Minutes in length.
Jim here. Apparently the final tally for AVATAR (outside of IMAX I am presuming) is 161 minutes. This would include the credits. This obviously fits within the 170 minutes alloted as a maximum run time with IMAX. (Corrected).
I got the number of 161 minutes from a new source connected with distribution. Stay tuned!
