Bryan Singer's anticipated take on the Jack And The Beanstalk tale is taking shape with the casting of the lead actor as a "farmer who leads an expedition into the giants' kingdom to rescue a kidnapped princess." Nicholas Hoult (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, CLASH OF THE TITANS) hopes to continue his rapid ascention into greater and greater roles with this opportunity.Singer is producing X-MEN: FIRST CLASS so it is not a great surprise that he has tapped Hoult for the part.
JACK THE GIANT KILLER is slated for a 2012 release. More info when I get it!
