Disney's A CHRISTMAS CAROL Rolls Into 40 Cities Via... TRAIN?

Jim here. Kinda cool marketing ploy - certainly brings out the Dickens in everyone I would imagine! Disney is ramping up for A CHRISTMAS CAROL already (I told you it would be big!) and they are using four gorgeously decorated trains to do it.

The Train Tour kicks off Memorial Day Weekend 2009 in Los Angeles, traveling across the country with stops in 40 cities, culminating in New York City in November. Visitors will be treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the magic and the cutting-edge technology of “Disney’s A Christmas Carol.” The train cars will be showcasing immersive and interactive experiences: the Landscape Gallery offers a digital slideshow of preproduction concept art, taking visitors into the homes of characters like Ebenezer Scrooge.

All aboard the Marketing Hype Express! Well, I jest. This movie deserves a rousing introduction like this - can't wait to see it.
