SILENT HILL: REVELATION 3D Adds Writer And Director Michael J. Bassett

Weird! I had not heard about SILENT HILL 2 until today and I just watched the original movie adaptation again a couple of nights ago. By the way, I enjoyed SILENT HILL's first two acts but I think it failed in the third. The atmosphere is very VERY creepy - very well done.

So I am quite excited about a sequel as long as the story is there. And PLEASE keep the creepiness! According to Bloody Disgusting SILENT HILL: REVELATION 3D is definitely being filmed in 3D.

Michael J. Bassett (SOLOMAN KANE) has been signed to write and direct. He has been actively blogging about his active projects too...

Here's the storyline:
The sequel follows heather Mason, along with her father, who have been on the run - always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't full understand, Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

Definitely looking forward to more news on this project! More when I get it...
