Disney Building An AVATAR Theme Park In The Animal Kingdom!!

Yes! What a stunningly exciting announcement made by Bob Iger and Tom Staggs at today's Walt Disney Imagineering press conference: Disney has inked a long term creative partnership with James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Filmed Entertainment to bring the world(s) of AVATAR to Disney's Walt Disney World Resort's Animal Kingdom!!

Cameron and Jon Landau will be creative consultants and work with the Disney team to bring all this to fruition. I would say there will be more than one 3D ride I am sure!! :-)

Actually this is a perfect setting for the AVATAR park as the Animal Kingdom celebrates and educates flora and fauna.
