This clip talks about 3D a bit more with Mia mentioning it as well as Burton himself. I find it fascinating that Burton decided against a native 3D shoot in favor of a conversation - we'll see how it turns out March 5!

Jim here. It's official! Australian Mia Waskowska has been named the lead in Tim Burton's upcoming 3D fantasy flick "Alice In Wonderland".
Would like to hear what you think of the selection given that SOOOO many actresses (and an actor - Johnny Depp) wanted this plum role.
Personally I think that Amanda Seyfried would have been my choice (Mamma Mia was spectacular), but Burton must have his reasons!
As always - will let you hear more when I get it. I have said it before and will say it again - this movie has blistering blockbuster written all over it. The amount of fan questions coming in about this movie top most others (AVATAR excepted of course) and you can almost visually see the excitement building in the blogoshere. Gotta love 3D!
