Red Band, NSFW And Whatever Else You Want To Call It - New Featurette For PIRANHA 3DD!!

Yes, this is very much not safe for work. The latest bit of marketing for PIRANHA 3DD hits the spinning Internet via FunnyorDie and actually is quite funny! I mean with The Hoff and Gary Busey and all, how can you go wrong? 

The movie is blatant sexism though, so if you watch it, be prepared. It's audience knows who they are and they are marketing DIRECTLY at them with this featurette.

Here's the movie's storyline: 

After the terror unleashed on Lake Victoria in PIRANHA 3D, the pre-historic school of blood thirsty piranhas are back. This time, no one is safe from the flesh eating fish as they sink their razor sharp teeth into the visitors of summer’s best attraction, The Big Wet Water Park. Christopher Lloyd (BACK TO THE FUTURE) reprises his role as the eccentric piranha expert with survivor Paul Scheer (THE LEAGUE) and a partially devoured Ving Rhames (PULP FICTION) back for more fish frenzy. David Hasselhoff trades in the sandy beaches of “Baywatch” to be a celebrity lifeguard at the racy water park. Who here is a fan of the total package that is Gary Busey? He can consistently deliver laughs time and time again effortlessly and with abandon. It doesn't even seem like he's trying to be funny. But funny he is and speaking of which this clip combines some outtakes taken from PIRANHA 3DD and the still raw talent of Busey.

This guy has nailed INSANE long ago. Would love to see him in more movies.

"Double The Action. Double The Terror. Double The D's" says the movie posters' tagline. Double the posters too! PIRANHA 3DD kicks off international marketing with two posters more or less highlighting the two most important aspects of the movie's franchise: Piranhas and bikini clad women. Sure it's a cop out, but let's face it: It works.

You all know what you will be getting when you go see this movie. If you are expecting a decent story or outstanding acting you should probably look elsewhere, though I will say I thoroughly enjoyed Richard Dreyfus and Elisabeth Shue's performances in the first iteration.

PIRANHA 3DD stars Christopher Lloyd, Gary Busey, David Hasselhoff, Katrina Bowden, Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Meagan Tandy, Chris Zylka and Paul Scheer.

My biggest fear with this movie? It isn't the creatures. It's the 3D conversion. Do it right this time PLEASE!

Horror Movie "1.8 Days" Being Shot In 3D?

** UPDATE (April 30): I have confirmation from Chuck Fallaw from Movie Tao Productions and "1.8 Days" is definitely being shot in 3D. Further he pointed me to a few videos cleaning up the Gary Busey tirade - or lack thereof! Inside Edition edited the clips and then lied on tape to make it appear as though he was yelling at the photographer when he in fact never did. This is a standard Busey appearance and nothing more. Sure he may still be crazy, but he did not abuse the photog! Here is the photog's website and a couple of YouTube videos clearing it up here and here. Gary just enjoys his work - that's all - right? Thanks for the clarifications Chuck!

**SAME DAY UPDATE: Appears it WILL be in 3D according to this poster from their official site! Awesome... Which makes Busey all the more nuttier. ADDED to the 3D Movie List!

Haha - I think Gary Busey has got himself into a little trouble here! Perhaps he let slip that his upcoming movie "1.8 Days" is going to be shot in 3D and then got upset when Inside Edition (known for its journalistic integrity) mentioned it during his interview.

He proceeds to go berserk! Wow - this guy is a piece of work. Check it out this video interview!
