Captain Marvel Confirmed As The Face Of MCU? Also AVENGERS 4 Spoiler Alert!

So apparently some fans from CineEurope are leaking some info about what they saw regarding Captain Marvel recently. Namely that Brie Larson's character will indeed be the lead of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Who said it? Don't know.

But apparently, the content shown to audiences also displayed Captain Marvel's powers and her dominance. Larson told E! recently (See video below): "She’s so strong - she can move planets. So for me, it was like - how far can I go with this strength?"

Man, I'm excited to see what she brings. And for me, Brie Larson is perfectly cast.

Question for you guys: Do you think that the content is referring to CM taking a temporary lead of the MCU franchise? Or permanent? In other words, do you think some of the characters killed off in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR will make an eventual return to the land of the living?

** AVENGERS 4 SPOILER ALERT **
DO NOT READ FURTHER UNLESS YOU WANT POTENTIAL SPOILERS

After all, Nick Fury himself, Samuel L. Jackson told Vulture while filming AVENGERS 4: "Who’s really dead, and who’s really in the flaky wind of Marvel dust, I don’t know, but I do know there’s a solution that they didn’t even have to tell me, just because I know who Captain Marvel is and what all that means."

Jackson also went further saying Captain Marvel is "the most powerful character" in the MCU - heroes and villains too. She's the key guys.

CAPTAIN MARVEL is slated for a March 2019 release.

Watch: New JURASSIC PARK 3D Trailer Is Here!

Man do I have fond memories of seeing JURASSIC PARK in the theaters - loved that first scene when they encountered the giant plant eaters out in the SUV and of course the first T-Rex scenes.

I saw this trailer pre-roll in 2D in front of SKYFALL in IMAX on Wednesday night (midnight). Looked AMAZING.

With his remastering of the epic into a state-of-the-art 3D format, Spielberg introduces the three-time Academy Award-winning blockbuster to a new generation of moviegoers and allows longtime fans to experience the world he envisioned in a way that was unimaginable during the film's original release. Starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Attenborough, the film based on the novel by Michael Crichton is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R. Molen.

Universal Pictures will release Steven Spielberg's groundbreaking masterpiece JURASSIC PARK in 3D on April 5, 2013. ENJOY!! And check out JURASSIC PARK 3D's poster right here.

Must Watch (If You Dare): Latest Clip From THE AVENGERS! Loki And Nick Fury!!

How can you resist? You are going to have to break down eventually and at least this clip doesn't feature any action scenes - just some awesome dialogue between Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston)!

Just kidding. If you have managed to lay off of the Marvel marketing barrage to date, my hat is off to you. Enjoy the pristine movie experience! But if you're like me - READ ON... :-)

The clip really does underscore just how powerful dialogue can be in this movie, especially between these two fine actors. Who needs action when you have this? I was hanging on every word. Of course I was hoping there wouldn't be large spoilers (there wasn't) but there were some clues as to what's going on.

Check it out!

Couple of key (spoilerish) points:
- Loki can't control what he's tapped into
- Nick Fury has the Tesseract (but may not be able to control it according to this clip)
- The Avengers have a reading supply of magazines

I can't wait for this movie to happen...

Watch: New Clip From Marvel's THE AVENGERS featuring Nick Fury And S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill

A little more drama please! And we have it. No action in this clip from Marvel's THE AVENGERS but what we do see is Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) issuing stern commands to S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill (Colbie Smulders) about the Tesseract (Cube from CAPTAIN AMERICA) and something about shipping out the "Phase Two Prototypes". Your guess is as good as mine.

I like the break from the super heroes! Any scene with Jackson in it is gonna rule anyway. Nick Fury has it all under control. :-) Or does he?? We'll soon find out!

Marvel's THE AVENGERS opens May 4.

Here's the movie's storyline:
Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”–the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, and directed by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble in summer 2012. In “Marvel’s The Avengers,” superheroes team up to pull the world back from the brink of disaster when an unexpected enemy threatens global security.

Marvel's THE AVENGERS: May 4, 2012!! Mark Ruffalo Is THE HULK!

YES! This is the news we have been waiting for (other than official confirmation that THE AVENGERS will be shot in native 3D)! Today at Comic-Con, director Joss Whedon walked on stage at the tail end of the CAPTAIN AMERICA and THOR panel with the entire top line cast for THE AVENGERS armed with a release date - May 4, 2012!!

Who are THE AVENGERS? Robert Downey Jr. as IRON MAN, Mark Ruffalo as THE HULK, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Chris Evans as CAPTAIN AMERICA, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as THOR, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Clark Gregg as Coulson.

I don't have to say that this movie has the potential to be the all time greatest comic adaption. Better than SPIDER-MAN (my personal fav). Better than BATMAN (Ok, maybe not TDK!). Better than SUPERMAN. What a cast!

I have a few requests for Marvel and I would like to hear yours too! First, native 3D. Second, I want to see the Hulkbuster Iron Man armor. Third, make the darn thing LEGENDARY. How about you?
