Spielberg Reveals He And Jackson Will Probably Co-Direct Third "Tintin": Shot Back To Back To Back !

Hey, looks like Zemeckis may be on the outs for the third iteration of "Tintin" being brought instead by the COMBINED talents of both Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson!

Spielberg is tackling the first "Tintin" movie with Jackson jumping in immediately after for the second. All three will be shot back-to-back-to-back.

Spielberg had this to say at Cannes: "We are going to make three Tintin movies back-to-back. I'll direct the first one, Peter will direct the second one. We'll probably co-direct the third one."

Hey well if you can't have Zemeckis, why not team up? Wow - now THAT is a collaboration! Production starts in September and it is too early to say which books will be involved.

Apparently Spielberg had never heard of "Tintin" until 1981 when a movie critic brought up the notion that Indiana Jones reminded him of the cartoon.

This is gearing up to be one heckuva 3D project and anticipation is running sky high - make it number two after James Cameron's "Avatar"...
