Updated: ATHIRD clip from the movie has been released today featuring Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) - warning this does give away the reason why Xavier can walk again.
Here's the latest from X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST! First video is a clip from the movie featuring Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and Peter Dinklage (Bolivar Trask) and a second featurette on Wolverine (Hugh Jackman).
So yes there are some visual spoilers here - a scene from the movie - but there is not much at all regarding plot, so in my mind it's ok to watch unless you want a pristine viewing experience of the whole thing in a few weeks.
Here's the storyline for the movie: The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST opens on May 23 featuring native 3D shot with rigs from our friends at 3ality Technica.
Here we go! Two new trailers for THE WOLVERINE, one international and one domestic. Both are worth watching.
Some answers are given to why we are seeing Wolverine travel to Japan and it looks like it didn't take long for him to get into action over there.
I'm actually quite disappointed that it seems that a really cool bar brawl was interrupted just before embarking on that trip. Oh well, that seen with the high speed train will make due, absolutely. But enough chatter - I don't want to talk too much about it before you see it!
Here's the storyline for the movie:
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
I like how they are setting this up - clearly Logan has his work cut out for him if he can't heal! THE WOLVERINE opens July 26.Click here for all of our WOLVERINE coverage.
Hey folks, Michael here. Hugh Jackman just came out at the end of the Fox panel to rapturous applause, literally right off the plane from Australia after wrapping the Wolverine shoot merely hours ago!
After telling the audience how much he had always wanted to bring X-Men to Comic-Con, he played an AWESOME trailer. Gambit was shown throwing charged cards in a fanlike pattern, Sabretooth, Deadpool, and a few other mutants were present, the adamantium bonding process was shown, and there was a kickass action scene involving military vehicles, a helicopter, and claws. The movie looks very much in the realistic vein of The Dark Knight. And with an amazing director in Gavin Hood, we'll all hopefully be in for something special come May 1, 2009!
P.S. No Avatar announcements, but the Wolverine surprise was really cool. The audience went insane!
Thanks to Ronald Sanchez & Tabitha DeVuyst (the awesome people sitting next to me) for the photo!
