MUST SEE: New Poster For Disney's JOHN CARTER!

This is a project I really have high hopes for. Disney's JOHN CARTER (after having dropped the "OF MARS") is on digital principal production right now and for the rest of the year. The studio has made available an early look through this teaser poster!

Love the font use in this - and the transparent red reminds me of the work Marvel did with THOR's posters. Nice job.

The movie is based on the classic sci-fi novel A PRINCESS OF MARS by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Here's the movie's storyline:
Civil War vet John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the lush and wildly diverse planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world whose main inhabitants are 12-foot tall green barbarians and is on the brink of collapse, Carter discovers that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.
